King Murray the Rabbit Quilt |

King Murray, is a portrait of a regal rabbit, commissioned by Kathy Smith. When I asked Kathy to tell me about his personality, she sent me a book she wrote called "King Murray's Royal Tail, the true story of an Easter bunny." After reading her book, I felt I really got to know Murray. I chose the photo below, out of the selection she sent, as I knew I could truly capture his regal and confidant nature by using that image as the basis for his portrait.
A portion of the proceeds from this portrait were donated to the Best Little Rabbit, Rodent & Ferret House. Currently in private collection. King Murray, 36"h x 28"w, was created with a variety of fabrics, stitched to within 1/8th inch.
